Isn't it great being "appreciated" for the work you do? You work hard, you commit your time and energy to make your goals and hit those revenue targets and what do you get for it, a breath mint.

While not all jobs are so callous, this collection of workers showing off their "generous" employers gifting them 'work bux,' bananas, and extra ten-minute breaks should be enough for all of us to agree that nothing says thank you like cold hard cash. Oh, you have a gift card for me? A pizza party? I'll take the cash.

So if you're feeling rewarded for all your hard work this year, be thankful because many millions of Americans are going to get no such year-end bonus, but hey, they might get a free slice of pizza.
